MY BACKROUND
My interest in photography started at the age of about 10 – more years ago than I care to think about – when armed with my first very modest camera I was often to be found taking increasingly elaborate shots of my family, pets and holiday views.
I have since had a long-standing career in estate agency and property development where photographing property was a daily occurrence and using an SLR camera second nature.
More recently I ventured into the world of art, owning a splendid gallery in the centre of Bournemouth, dealing with high end Modern British Art and a select number of internationally recognised contemporary artists, many of whom have remained good friends since. That experience has afforded a wealth of knowledge to the creative side of my photography.
Since semi-retiring a few years ago I have spent a large proportion of my time photographing the world around me, building in the process an extensive portfolio of photographic work, a selection of which is shown here.
My images have been published in a number of quality magazines and in particular I have recently been a regular contributor to the Wiltshire Life Magazine.

EQUIPMENT
I use professional grade, full frame Nikon camera bodies and lenses supported with a MacBook Pro when I need onsite editing.
All my images are shot RAW from which I carry out colour and light processing in order to obtain as true to life reproduction of the subject as possible. I do not manipulate images and hence do not use special effects filters or the likes of Photoshop which I consider produce digital art rather than pure photography. Nothing wrong with digital art, it’s just not relevant to what I do.

All the images shown here are available for purchase. Prints can be in any size you require, ready for framing, either on high grade paper or canvas.
If you can’t see exactly what you are looking for, I would be happy to discuss your requirements to see if I can provide what you need either from my extensive image library or by commission as below.
